It’s that time of year, Fall for some, and in many places around the world, like here in Minnesota USA, the weather is getting cooler, the leaves are turning beautiful colors – all sorts of shades of reds and golds and yellows melded with the yet green and turning to browns; the wind is blowing leaves from their tree homes and scattering them across the ground, throughout yards, while gathering them inside still and quiet areas like entrances to our houses.

The smell of fall is like none other – a crisp musky scent of leaves and foliage all around as nature gives way to another new season on the way.  The snow will soon fly.  It’s a good time to ponder a few things, to grab a cup of apple cider or your favorite drink , and sit back and listen to John Kistler’s uplifting understanding of the Bible Story – the story of God, humans, animals and creation.  Or if you don’t have a half hour, play the radio podcast while you make dinner or drive home from work or whatever it is you feel you need to be doing and listen!

This is the story that often, sadly, Christian’s don’t hear told; it is the story that the world needs to hear, for it is the story of how all things truly are connected, and one day, our Lord and Saviour is going to return and restore all things.

So grab that drink or turn up the volume as you cook dinner – John’s understanding of scripture and animals is wonderfully uplifting and enlightening: http://www.godsanimals.net/podcast/animals-in-heaven-pets-wildlife

For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him,  and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.
